Danika Mason Apologizes After Viral Winter Olympics Broadcast Incident
Australian sports broadcaster Danika Mason has apologized. In a recent viral video, she can be seen making incoherent remarks about coffee and iguanas during a live Winter Olympics broadcast from Italy. Mason said that she 'misjudged the situation' by drinking before going live while experiencing cold weather, high altitude, and an empty stomach. Although some people on social media demanded that she be fired, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the other presenters on Channel Nine have rallied around her, with the Prime Minister labeling the incident a "jet lag" problem and declaring himself "pro-Danika."
